The time I pked a green mask.

I just got a question from Sam/Miss Runite/ 12ape (has more alias's then me) but before I answer any of the question that were sent I just want to talk about RSC pking, because Miss Runite looked familiar so I looked it up on Youtube and found a awesome f2p RSC pking video here's the link if any of you want to check it out.

Anyways here my story, I was pking on Mr T Wong3 that day his stats are similar to today's stats, with 20def. I was at the castle as usual. The whole day it was a disaster as I could not "catch" (In RSC there was 3 rounds of hitting each and your not allowed to eat anything until those 3 rounds are over, so you would have to run away.) I remember it being really bad as I did not get any kills for hours. For me if its not productive I will turn it in.

I was making my way back down from the bandits hideout. Walked past the castle as there were just people way to high or way to low to even fight. I walked down to where the skeletons were and there I saw a guy wearing rune chest, legs, green mask and r2h. It was obvious he was 4 iteming. I wasn't going to get anything but I didn't care I just wanted to kill someone at this point as I was bored stiff.

I decided I was going to kill this guy no matter what. I potted up and turned on ultimate str/improved reflexes went in for the attack. I hit nothing 0,5,0 I quickly ended battle as I didn't want him to get a chance to run. I attack again nothing 0,0,15 again I end battle and attack him again this time I actually do damage 12,10,8 I run out again. Hes not eating hes lagging!

I attack him again 0,0,4 you got to be kidding me.... In my mind right now I'm thinking okay maybe he doesn't have any food on him and he really is 4 iteming teasing me its other that or he really is lagging and he won't have a chance to turn on his prayer to keep his 4Th item. This time it was a success 14,0,9 he falls to the ground. All I could see is a cape. I right click there it was. A Green mask. I picked it up and logged out as soon as possible.

I was so sketched to log in as this was my biggest pk ever. I had to get my friend to escort me out of the wild. It was a awesome pk even though I wouldn't have called it "owning" just really lucky and real unlucky for the guy that died, this is why you don't go in the wild showing off your wealth.

Back then I think masks were about 500k-800k which back then was a lot of money compared today. I don't stress this enough but making money back then was way harder, so it was the equivalent of a rare pk in rs2.

This was my best pked item ever and to this today If I were to pick between the two pk systems of rsc and rs2. I would pick rsc hands down. It's way funner and took more skill in the idea of "catching" people. For those that haven't played rsc you guys are really missing out on something that was really fun. Graphics aren't everything, I will take game play over graphics any day.

I personally voted for castle wars because I found it way funner as theres more strategy and if you die you don't have to wait to play again, free food is always a plus too also the free items weren't bad but I wish they were more useful like fist of guthix's prizes you can actually use.
