I hate dead animals.

So this guy on my left. Went crazy on my facebook adding people messaging people and so I decided to creep his profile pics as I haven't talked to him in a long time not because I was getting gay.

But anyways I saw this picture and holy sh8t on a stick. This scared the hell out of me.

It might be because I'm not a hunter and the only time I have killed a deer was driving over 100km and after turning a corner the deer popped out and it hit the passenger side bumper, long story short I was on a highway with no cell phone reception, pitch black out, a jeep that was smoking like crazy and i was alone.

After I hit the deer I pulled over and ran with flashlight in hand probably 100ft back to see smashed glass/plastic from my headlights on the road and looked in the bush.

Staring 40ft from the road was a deer with its whole head mangled. I'm not a panicking person in real life but at that moment in time I was panicking as I walked towards the motionless animal. I couldn't tell if its dead its eyes are just black the only thought in my head was how do I kill it if its breathing as its head was motionless and in a unnatural position.

I picked up a handful of snow and packed it in my hands and formed a snowball. I threw the snowball at the animal hitting it right in the body, it did not move.(I did this because I didn't want this animal to jump up frantically and kick at me just in case it wasn't completely dead) I did this 3 or 4 more times as I got closer to the animal each time the impact of the snowball got louder. Eventually I found myself face to face with this dead animal. I kicked it. Thud. It was dead.

I got back into my car. and was thinking of way to many things
"did this really happen?"
"how can this happen to me?"
"now what?"
"what will happen to the animal?"
My thinking process was completely scrambled and the only thing I could think of was to get home. It took me a extra hour and half to drive 15 mins as my Jeeps radiator was broken(thing that keeps the engine cool). I finally made it to a pay phone where I got to call my dad and he came in with his truck with a lot of pails of water for the radiator.

It was over that was the only thing that I could think of after I sat down on my bed. But after I went to sleep I kept replaying what had happened. You know in Rocky movies they do a part in the boxing match where everything slows down and you see everything in slow motion? Thats what happened to me as I kept seeing myself hitting this deer and looking it right in the eye as I took its life.

I hate looking at dead animals.(Sorry I kind of gassed at the end of my story.)
