UFC 107 after thoughts
That was my prediction video for the main event, I had quick picks for the rest of the card and before I got any further. I went 5/5 on the main card :).

Anyways lets talk about the main event Bj Penn vs Diego Sanchez First round, damn Herb Dean is a awesome referee half of the other referee's would have stopped it as Diego got seriously rocked and I wouldn't have blamed that referee for stopping the fight it looked like it could have ended any second. Other then the first round, everything else went the way I thought it would except for it being pretty one sided I really did think Diego would push the pace and land a lot of flurries also the doctors stoppage in the 5th round(Pretty damn close to a decision, like I called it). The superior stand up like I said played a huge role in this fight.
Diego showed great heart and I want to see him come back stronger then ever after this loss. BJ I don't want to see him fight Maynard or Diaz or even Edgar, Maynard is basically a wrestler and will get annihilated standing, Diaz has no power in his hands so his stand up won't even touch BJ and Diaz's main strength is his BJJ, Bj won't get submitted by Diaz. Edgar is like 2 fights for me to even call him a contender. Those 3 guys should fight Kenny and winner of that should get the next shot at BJ. Other then that BJ has cleaned out the division after destroying Sanchez. I think Bj should go back to welterweight to see what he can do. Him vs fitch, kos or even alves would be awesome.
Frank Mir vs Kongo was amazing. I watched the weigh ins Mir's size didn't really hit me but once he stepped into the octagon I was saying shit that guy is huge! Mir looked amazing rocked Kongo and then slipped in the choke to put Kongo to sleep. Anyone wanna see Mir vs Nog 2? Call me crazy but who is Kimbo Slice going to fight next? 205lbs or heavyweight or another lame catchweight? If I was UFC I would give Kongo, Kimbo. Kongo is a smaller heavyweight and all he has is a stand up. Its a good test for Kimbo. Even better if they can get Seth into the UFC set up some sort of rematch and save Kongo for later. Don't cut him from the UFC after this loss.
Florian vs Clay was just a shock, in my mind 100% I was thinking theres no way Clay is going to get finished but shit! Florian with his razor sharp elbows overwhelmed Clay. Florian definitely looked good and I would say hes 1 fight away for another shot at the title but in reality he might have to fight 2 more times.
Fitch vs Pierce was boring as shit. I always have been mad for UFC putting Fitch on the undercards but now I remember why his fights are there, his fights are boring. Hes a awesome fighter and brings a lot of trouble for a lot of fighters out there. But shit his style is boring to me.
I think Fitch needs to fight someone that can get him up the ladder. Pierce did nothing for him.
Paul vs Stefan was exciting, like I said best underdog bet on the card. This was fun to watch and it was a bit of a slugfest. This was my fight of the night for the main card. Stefan should fight another veteran, maybe Herring? I would let Stefan grow as a fighter more before throwing him into deep waters.
Thats basically my main thoughts a real good night of fights and we got a little bit of everything on this card for finish's. Great job for UFC making this card. I hope the other champs in the other divisions heal up fast.

UFC 107 quick picks

I didn't feel like writing a little paragraph for each fight this time around so instead here are my quick picks. Pretty one sided fights stylistically. BJ is better in everything then Diego, Kongo has no ground game, Fitch is far superior then pierce(NO GSP then Fitch would be champ), Kenny Florian is slightly better(Fight of the night anyone, its either this of BJ/Sanchez) Last fight you got a guy fighting in the UFC after a long lay off on the biggest stage against someone that has looked impressive in his last outtings.
BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez
Frank Mir vs Cheick Kongo
Jon Fitch vs Mike Pierce
Kenny Florian vs Clay Guida
Paul Buentello vs Stefan Struve
If your a online bettor parlay Fitch/Mir those are money makers. Only way Mir will lose is KTFO but I think with his improved stand up that will be highly unlikely he will find a submission somewhere.
(yes there will be a video, talking about the main event eventually.)

UFC 94
So I just got back from the bar. Full from the Wendy's after and half intoxicated....
Anyways this UFC overall was alright. There weren't any spectacular knockouts or submissions but it was well worth the watch compared to the Franklin vs Henderson fight. But anyways the fights I put money on (GSP vs Penn and Machida vs Silva) both of my guys won. Both of the fights were one sided.
But I was really surprised at the Machida fight, as Machida was the one giving out the punishment. After Silvas's brief aggression at the fight. Machida knocked him down once. I was very surprised as I could not see Silva getting knocked down. But thats what happend. After the first knock down, I was surprised at Silva getting knocked down but not for Machida not finsihing. Machida is not a finisher. But he proved me wrong in this fight. At the diying seconds of the first round Machida hit Silva right on the button. And then pounced on him from gaurd and gave him a stiff jab right to the jaw and another punch right at the bell. I thought of it as nothing as first and was expecting a second round. Until the ref waved the fight as over. I was totally shocked, I totally thought this was going togo to the decision with Machida winning. But this is was makes MMA so great to watch, you can never expect the unexpected.
The main event was next with GSP vs Penn. When I made the video I already talked about the strengths and weakness I saw in both fighers, I knew after the 2nd and 3rd round Bj was done if he could not submit GSP. But I could not say I would have imagine one of the top 5 pound for pound guys in the world get controlled like he did. GSP totally destroyed Penn. On the standup and on ground. The standup I really did though Bj had the advantage but nothing came from it except a few good combinations/jabs. I could not tell what happend after the 4th round. I just assumed BJ was gassed out and could not continue(He was gassed in the diying seconds of the 2nd round) But I heard his nose was broken! GSP Rocks!
The bar I was at was in Calgary you could only imagine how loud it got as a fellow Canadian won. It was ridiciouls and usaully I would frown upon loud crowds as it took away from my experince from watching the event, but this time maybe it was the cash at stake but it got me pumped up.
I hoped everyone got to see the UFC event. Overall its really worth the watch but if your into real exciting finishes this may not be the fight for you as pretty much every fight ended in a decision.
$80 richer MrISIB! hahaha
