So I just got back from the bar. Full from the Wendy's after and half intoxicated....
Anyways this UFC overall was alright. There weren't any spectacular knockouts or submissions but it was well worth the watch compared to the Franklin vs Henderson fight. But anyways the fights I put money on (GSP vs Penn and Machida vs Silva) both of my guys won. Both of the fights were one sided.
But I was really surprised at the Machida fight, as Machida was the one giving out the punishment. After Silvas's brief aggression at the fight. Machida knocked him down once. I was very surprised as I could not see Silva getting knocked down. But thats what happend. After the first knock down, I was surprised at Silva getting knocked down but not for Machida not finsihing. Machida is not a finisher. But he proved me wrong in this fight. At the diying seconds of the first round Machida hit Silva right on the button. And then pounced on him from gaurd and gave him a stiff jab right to the jaw and another punch right at the bell. I thought of it as nothing as first and was expecting a second round. Until the ref waved the fight as over. I was totally shocked, I totally thought this was going togo to the decision with Machida winning. But this is was makes MMA so great to watch, you can never expect the unexpected.
The main event was next with GSP vs Penn. When I made the video I already talked about the strengths and weakness I saw in both fighers, I knew after the 2nd and 3rd round Bj was done if he could not submit GSP. But I could not say I would have imagine one of the top 5 pound for pound guys in the world get controlled like he did. GSP totally destroyed Penn. On the standup and on ground. The standup I really did though Bj had the advantage but nothing came from it except a few good combinations/jabs. I could not tell what happend after the 4th round. I just assumed BJ was gassed out and could not continue(He was gassed in the diying seconds of the 2nd round) But I heard his nose was broken! GSP Rocks!
The bar I was at was in Calgary you could only imagine how loud it got as a fellow Canadian won. It was ridiciouls and usaully I would frown upon loud crowds as it took away from my experince from watching the event, but this time maybe it was the cash at stake but it got me pumped up.
I hoped everyone got to see the UFC event. Overall its really worth the watch but if your into real exciting finishes this may not be the fight for you as pretty much every fight ended in a decision.

Poll results in.
So the Results are in. I am very surprised as were all dinosaurs.....hahaha short and sweet hahaha.... awww yeahhh.....
On a side note my life has been really busy lately so that's with the shortage of the RS blogs. Haven't really been thinking of ideas for blogs I could write. So that's with the shortage for this month.
It maybe be a sign of the RS blogs coming to a end. That means the plan is, is to convert it over to just my site where I will write about anything. Just a personal blog with the odd RS blog. This will probably disinterest a lot of people. But things change.

Talking about Rares
Why is my bank filled with rares when you can't use them. I've been asked this a lot. So I'm going to explain why I choose to fill my bank with rares. First off, I would like to give you a question why do people buy Corvette's and other exotic cars when they do the same thing as a ordinary cars like Volkswagen? Its a sign of status in real life and rares apply in the game of Runescape. Unlike other items rares like the party hat will never be redropped again. So the only way to get one is to buy it from other players.
Rares have always been one of the fastest way to earn money from merchanting and I would even say the highest form of merchanting but I don't want to lead anyone on in merchanting rares, rares are a gamble for merchanting as times you can't get rid of them and sometimes you just have to sell it lower then you bought it for or else you will lose to much.... But there has to be risks if you want to make a lot of money fast, if you have read my older blogs you would know as soon as I made enough money I bought a santa and virtually turned that santa hat to what you see today.
I started buying my first santas for 200k. Whats does that say? More people join Runescape every single day, making my rares increase in value. Right now you can see prices are dropping and gaining. But just take a look at how much the prices jumped from when I started to now. The bottom line is. More people= Inflated market for rares.
Armour and weapons will drop eventually, take a look back at the abby whip, when it first came out people were trading their party hats over it! I remember seeing someone selling one for 100million. Look how much it dropped today, if its replenishable the price will go down, unless the ratio of people starting the game is greater then the actual drops from the monsters.
So back to the original question "Why do you fill your bank with rares?". The answer is simple. It holds its value the best in the long run when your not playing seriously anymore like me you don't need weapons or armour so why not just invest your money into a rare? When I first made my bank video it was worth 1.1bill. Right now I would say my bank is worth 960mill. It dropped but I really do believe it will go back up. Not in a day or week or even a month but a year down the road, I do believe it will go up a few million.

Bring back the noob days.
Bring back the noob days.
Well for those that have read some of my older blogs on this site. You would have a general idea of what I did to get my stats and my bank to where it is today. Today we dwelve back into the time machine and take a look back when I would consider myself a noob.
It goes back all the way when I first got scammed a brief recap of what happened:
I was about lvl 30-40 and was in Varrok when I heard someone saying "Join my clan you will get a free gift!" I was so stoked on that as I was a poor poor guy. My bank consisted of sardines and junk armour that even a lvl 3 noob wouldn't want. Anyhow I decided lets join this clan. As promised I got a mithril long sword which was frigging amazing. Also a full set of steel armour. He then told me at this point all I had to do was register on his site to become a offical member of this new clan.
Being the noob I was I entered my Runescape password onto this site. He then logged onto my account and raped me of my precious sardines and put "haha you dumb noob" in my friends list.
This made me sad yet evil. Because while I was thinking of all my hard fished sardines I was also plotting for revenge on other unfortunate people. So ladies and gentlemen a little chapter that I have never shared.

How did I scam people you ask?
Well I did 3 things and it worked but to today's standards it would not work.
1) made a basic and by basic i mean basic website on yahoo. It was called "Runescape helper" basically the site was the cheapest looking thing ever and anyone today would laugh at how bad it is. I wish I had the link still but its gone. But the site promised "Millions and Millions of gp" all you needed to do was send your user name and password to a set email.
I think the most I got out of it was a few r2h and a couple of mithril plates.
2) Back in the old Runescape days you could change your password in game. So I added random people and told them I found a cheat. Again by today's standard it would just be ignored but I actually got a lot of people by doing this one.
After I added them I would tell them the big secret on how to duplicate any time. I would tell them to walk to varrok west bank goto the bottom of the stairs and type in "item duplicate" then I told them walk to the other bank and type in the item they wanted to get duplicated "X-item" then I told them goto varrok square and type in the amount they wanted "###" then I would say all you had to do was change your password to enter and then press alt f4.
amazing that I got a lot of people by doing this. This one I had lots of r2hs and rune sets probably 10 in total.
3)One of my favorite as it was pretty much having someone work for me for nothing. I made a pure fishing account that had above 50 fishing. I went to varrok and advertised I was quitting and gave away my account.
The unsuspecting person would log in and take a look at my bank and stats. The bank had everything to catch fish and money to take the boat to karajama. I then logged onto my other account and asked "hey buddy you got any certs to sell?" They would then proceed to either play along or say they are not the owner.
Either way I would say "oh really, I need them badly ill pay 2k per a cert"(certs were 5 lobsters and lobster prices were 200gp back then) The person would jump on the opportunity so fast as it was easy cash. I told them I needed about 10-15k certs. They would then fish for me on that account.or transfer money or the certs itself onto the account.
If they logged out and in I knew they dropped traded. If they stay logged on I know their fishing. Whatever I did they played my hand and I would have changed the recoveries at this point.
I probably made a large amount of money off this but I have no idea what that total is.
Those were the noob days. I don't lie when I say I've done everything in Runescape, been scammed have scammed. been poor been rich.
Thats my little story. Watch out I might scam you! (that's a joke btw.... or is it? Whats your password?)
