Wow November is the month of MMA. We have tons of events this month and on November 14th we are greeted by UFC 105. The headlining fight is Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera. So lets jump right into the predictions.
Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera
This fight I will have to give to Randy, lets not even go into the whole "hes 40+ years old its time to retire". Randy is still a monster. Yes hes lost back to back. But those loses weren't crappy performances.Vera on the other hand, after he dropped down to 205lb. Hasn't displayed that much of his brilliance when he was considered a monster at heavyweight.
Randy I believe has more ways to win this fight. Starting on the ground, I do believe Couture is a better wrestler even though these 2 have met at the Olympic center. Couture was a Olympic alternate and Vera was just a guy there that was a up and comer. So if it hits the ground Couture will have the advantage.
On the feet I have togo with Vera, but the thing is I can't see Vera throwing to many leg kicks as he doesn't want the take down to happen so hes going to limit himself to his technical punching. Randy has enough experience not to get himself into to much trouble from the stand up. So I see Randy closing the distance and controlling Vera in the clinch and taking down Vera and control Vera for 3 rounds yes Vera has better BJJ but if Nog can't submit Couture I can't see Vera submitting him making the ground very safe for Couture, which will translate into Couture earning a decision victory.
Mike Swick vs. Dan Hardy
Both these guys are well rounded. Dan Hardy I would say has more knock out power but Swicks hands are faster and his wrestling is better also Swick has a better training camp then Hardy. Its Swicks fight to lose in my opinion. Expect a decision victory for swick.
Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang
I never liked Bisping. I actually hate this guy and can't stand anything about him, hes way to cocky when he hasn't performed very good against top level competition. Bisping is over his head in this fight. Kang is a Pride veteran. Known for his well roundness hes fought a whos who on the international circuit. Kang hasn't looked good since coming over to the UFC but I think it has to do with nerves, UFC is the biggest stage in the world and he had a lot to live up to when he came over. Going into this fight theres no pressure on Kang as its in Bispings backyard, I think he can work his magic in this fight to show why hes considered one of the top middleweights in the world. I would also like to add he trained at ATT so I expect the best Kang ever. Expect a decison for Kang
There are 2 other fights on the main card. But I'm not going to lie I have no clue who the fudge these people are so I'm not going to pretend I know these guys and just give someone else prediction.
