Fedor VS Brock Fantasy match up

(This was originally was suppose to be a mini script that I would do on video but decided to leave it up as a blog and do a video about it aswell.)

First off I would like to start off this is my opinion on what would happen if these 2 ever met in the ring or octagon. So if you disagree or agree whatever leave a comment on the fight, and not something racial or some other dumb comment that has nothing to do with the actual fight.

If these 2 met up you can damn well bet both of these guys are going to train their butts off so both of these guys are going to be in phenominal shape. The main thing that gets me excited about this fight is their age(Fedor and brock would be 32 at the time im making this video). Their both going to be in their prime going into a fight unlike coture vs fedor where coture is just way to old to fight with fedor.

So who do I have in this fight? Brock Lesnar.
Heres the main reason why. Size, Brock is just to huge of a guy for fedor to handle. Go watch the Hong man choi fight. Fedor could not stop the take down as Hong man choi just fell on fedor. That is a fact go look watch the fight again if you don't belive me. Now I know what your going to say Lesnar is smaller then Hong man Choi. Not by much. The problem is the weight classes in mma 205lbs to 265lbs? Thats a 60 lbs difference and thats not including that some people have to cut weight to make the limit and thats what Lesnar does he cuts weight by losing water weight by sweating. So when he does walk into the octagon he weighs over 265lbs.
So fine lets say Brock walks into the octagon at 280 lbs and Choi weighs about 325lbs, 45lbs difference between the two. Plus Brock is more of a athelete then Choi so the take down can't be stopped.

I absolutely don't think the fight will be standing. Brock knows he doesn't have the amount of skill to match Fedors stand up. Lesnar got curious against Frank Mir in the 2nd round at UFC 100 and wanted to test the waters of his stand up. He got rocked and he immediatly took down Mir. So the fights going to be on the ground with Fedor on his back.

Fedor against hong man choi pulled out a highlight reel arm bar but thats because Choi postures up and throws bombs but the problem is hes a slow powerful puncher. Lesnar likes to throw masterbation hammer fists that looks like a humming bird flapping its wings, the only time I haven't seen him throw his masterbation punches are unless he knows for sure he can wind up his punches and won't get him in trouble, im going back to the mir fight again lesnar trapped mir against the cage and pinned down his body and one of his arms and Mir became defenseless and Brock just started to throw bombs. Thats the first time I've seen lesnar throw actual punchs.

I'm not a big fan of mma math where people say fighter A beats fighter B but fighter B can beat fighter C so fighter C can beat fighter B by default. Instead I just watch how the fighters react to the spot their put in. Frank Mir is known for his submissions, thats how he won the first fight. Did we even see a submission attempt during the fight? Absolutely not. Because there was no chance for Mir to look for one as Brock applies constant pressure. So Fedor will probably be sitting in the same boat.

The fight is going to end 2 ways Lesnar wins by KO or by decision. Lesnar will always be on top so he will score points for Ground and pound which is why the 10 point scoring system is flawed, its not boxing. I really don't think Fedor can KO Lesnar as Lesnar is just to explosive and Fedor loves to throw looping punchs, but if one good shot lands Lesnar is going to be sleeping. If one of Frank Mirs punches can rock lesnar.

The only other thing I would like to add is if this fight were to happen it would be in between the years 2010-2011 and maybe 2012. Thats going to give Lesnar more time to experince more and more fights so hes not going to be as green as he once was. The longer the fight takes to actually happen Lesnar just gets stronger and stronger. Fedor can no longer improve as to me he already maxed everything out that he was born with. Brock on the other hand is bigger, stonger but lacks the talent of the diversity of mma skills so you can see why each month that passes Lesnar stock rises.

To wrap it up Lesnar will win because mma rules are stupid and the heavyweight class is just to big of a gap, compared to the other weight classes. Brock should be fighting in a super heavyweight class. If Lesnar doesn't win by KO, Lesnar will win by decision because the 10 point scoring system is flawed for mma. Lesnar gains experince every time he fights so Fedors chances of catching Lesnar in a situation hes not familiar with gets slimmer and slimmer. Fedor to me is the king of the heavyweights. But Lesnar is just to huge and should be fighting in a seperate weight class.

Thats my video I hoped you enjoyed my small analyisis and once again if you agree, diagree leave me a comment and tell me what you think would happen in the fight with reason. I don't want to read useless comments like Fedor 2nd round arm bar. How is Fedor going to pull off a arm bar when he gets smothered and has masterbation hammerfists flying at his face?

UFC 100 and my day

Well I decided to skip UFC 100 and catch the replay on the internet. Go watch the fights before you even read any further as im going to give my thoughts and they will contain spoilers.

So i skipped the fights because a few friends invited me too go to the Calgary stampede. Which is basically a rodeo with rides on the side for all those that don't know. I went there to see Bif Naked. My thoughts. It was really crowded. Really crowded. I was cold at first because I only wore a t-shirt but there was so many people around me I got warmed up and it felt like I was wearing a hoody. We got there 20 mins before she came out and yet we were about halfway from the stage. But some reason me and my friend Ryan advanced each 5 mins and got closer and closer as the clock ticked down.

One thing I was not impressed by was the amount of mary jane that was going around the stampede. Its a family event. I don't care if you smoke it outside of a bar but a public place where pregnet women and kids are is not the right place. The cops did thier best to control that but the amount of people was just to overwhelming.

Finally when Bif got on stage. we were about 1/4 to the stage but that tallest of tall people were in the very front. Lammmeee... We just stood there and could periodically only see her head. It was pretty lame. Then for some reason people started moshing. It was quite annoyying. As a wet... yes wet from sweat, Native american guy kept pushing me into my friend. Where did this mosh start? who the hell said I was going to mosh. Friggin idiot. I was tottally grossed out as everyone was wet. People even began to surf the crowd. The biggest perverts were in the crowd all the girls got groped as they went up.

Seriously I found it very offensive because once again its a family event.... I even saw a boob. Once again if it was at a concert. A real concert I would not complain but a family event and a boob pops out. Classy... Basically the whole time a wet guy was pushing me into my friend and I was like man I should have sat in the back these guys are friggin wet and annoying. I even fell down once as seriously someone goldberg tackled me.

Not to good. The rest of the stampede we just walked around. As none of my friends wanted togo on the rides, because their poor or afriad im not too sure which one it is.

I got home at around 12ish and then started finding the UFC 100 replay.

Im going to talk about the whole card in genereal. It sucked. For UFC 100 I was expecting to have my socks blown off. UFC 98 was way better.

So heres my break down. I started watching the Hendo vs Bisping fight first. It was a closer fight then I expected and I seriously thought it was going togo decision but My guy Hendo KOed Bisping it was a good start for me as it got me pumped up.

the 2nd fight I saw was the GSP vs Thiago fight. This for me put me to sleep. I seriously was watching from my bed and I closed my eyes in between rounds and found myself awakinging and seeing the same stuff. GSP taking Thiago down and working ground and pound. It wasn't lay and pray, but lets face it. it was boring to watch as Thiago did not have any answer for it. It would have been better if GSP could finish Thiago. But Thiago was way to strong, so he would power out and get back to his feet and GSp would take him down again. I don't care what you say. This was a boring fight. Anderson silva vs thales leites wasn't even this bad, because Silva was toying with Leites with messed up kicks.

the 3rd fight was the main event with lesnar and mir. By the time GSP fight wrapped out I was out cold due to boredom and the long ass intro to the fight didn't help either. I found myself missing the whole first round and only watching the 2nd round mid point to finish. I just saw Lesnar pin down Mir and finish him. It was lame.

the last fight was cut out but it was paulo thiago vs jon fitch and it had a amazing first round but the stream got cut out so I defineatly want to see that fight again.

All in and all it might have been my fatigue level but I really didn't get into tonights fights. it was boring. But I'm so happy Hendo shut Bispings cocky mouth. So glad.

UFC 100 prediction

A milestone in MMA. This event is stacked and no body that is even a avid fan should miss these upcoming fights! So here are my predictions on the main card and quick picks for the undercard.

Brock Lesnar Vs. Frank Mir
Lesnar is going to win this fight as he showed in the first fight he can take the fight to the ground. If the fight goes to the ground expect Lesnar to do his masterbation hammer fists on Mir's face. I know what your saying Mir's going to submit him again if he goes to the ground as Mir has more knowledge on the ground. But if you watched the Herring fight, Lesnar has more patience and is more wise now to rush things thats why he didn't go for the KO finish. Instead he went for the decision. I do belive this will be a exciting 3 round fight and if Lesnar does not get a TKO by then it will be Lesnar do lay and pray in the 4th and 5th round for a decision. Lets be honest if someone as big as lesnar can take you down and just lay on you. you cant do anything hes just to huge.

Georges St-Pierre Vs. Thiago Alves

GSP will just sneak away with a fight here. Stand up Alves is better. The thing GSp usaully has in his fights is physical power, but in this fight Alves will be the bigger fighter and im assuming the stronger fighter. The fight really comes down to the wrestling. If GSP can take Alves down he will win the fight in the decision. If Alves can shrug off the take downs. Alves will run through GSP. GSP for some reason performs his best when his opponent has amazing attributes in those areas, so thats why I predicit GSP will win. IF your making a online bet this is the underdog fight you would want to bet on as Alves has a legitimate chance to win thsi fight. Don't be surprised if you see GSP Koed.

Jon Fitch Vs. Paulo Thiago
Jon Fitch will win this fight. Thiago got lucky against Koscheck and got in a lucky punch against Koscheck who was head hunting only tring to show off his boxing skills and earn KO of the night not even utilizing his wrestling backround. Jon Fitch is a friggin machine if you seen his fights and even his fight against GSP he showed his heart even though he was getting decimated. Call me a nut hugger but I don't see any way Fitch can lose this.

Dan Henderson Vs. Michael Bisping
Henderson is going to win this fight. Because of these reasons
1. He has more experince against higher level opponenets.
2. He can take a punch(never been Koed) and he can throw a hell of a knock out punch.
3.his wrestling is outstanding.

Bisping is someone that the UK fans can cheer for and he became a star that way. He is not on par to Henderson. The only way he can win the fight is to keep the fight standing, which I find really hard to see as Matt hamil could take down Bisping and Henderson is a much better wrestler then Hamil. Theres no way Bisping can win this fight.

Yoshihiro Akiyama Vs. Alan Belcher
Akiyama is going to win this fight. He has more experience and by far has more tools to use in the cage. Alan who is the welcoming commity for all the new UFC entrants got lucky against Denis Kang. Kang killed Belcher everywhere but then got caught in a submission. Kang is in my top 10 in middleweights and Akiyama is also in my top 10. I can't see another lucky win that Belcher can pull out. Expect to see Akiyama show off his skills in this fight.

undercard quick picks
Mark Coleman Vs. Stephan Bonnar
Mac Danzig Vs. Jim Miller
Jon Jones Vs. Jake O'Brien
Dong Hyun Kim Vs. TJ Grant
CB Dollaway Vs. Tom Lawlor
Matt Grice Vs. Shannon Gugerty
